2009 Memorials Create Taskforces to Work on Women's Health Issues 
During the last legislative session, two memorials were passed creating taskforces to be overseen by the New Mexico Women's Health Office.
Senate Memorial 19 creates a statewide taskforce to assess and improve access to substance abuse treatment and prenatal care for pregnant women with substance abuse problems. 
House Memorial 58 creates a taskforce to study the needs of breastfeeding student mothers in New Mexico.
